Net-Metering Assistance in Lahore

End-to-end net-metering and net-billing support in Lahore — single-line diagrams, equipment datasheets, applications and DISCO coordination so your solar export is approved without the runaround.

Approval time

~2.5–3.5 months

Net metering lets a grid-tied solar system export surplus units to the grid so they offset the units you draw at other times. In 2026 the framework changed: under NEPRA's Prosumer Regulations, new applicants are placed on net billing, where exported units are bought at a notified rate and imported units are billed at your normal tariff. The paperwork and coordination can be daunting — Engineering World manages the whole process for you.

What changed in 2026

NEPRA's Prosumer Regulations 2026 replaced the 2015 net-metering framework. New rooftop applicants move to net billing rather than 1:1 unit exchange, while existing net-metering agreements generally continue on their original terms until they expire. Connections up to 1 MW on a three-phase supply are eligible to apply.
